Professional Bio
Edward Mathieu is the co-owner of Overland Distributing Company, a national distributing group specializing in new water and fuel-efficient technologies, systems, and practices for related industries. Ed began his career in the Green Industry as a contractor in southern California for 12 years, where he employed as many as 75 individuals. Subsequently, Ed transitioned into the sales, marketing, and manufacturing side of the industry and has spent the past 20 years working in the rocky mountain territory. During this time, he collaborated with local distributors, designers, and engineers to keep abreast of the latest industry technologies and trends.
Ed played a pivotal role as an original member of the Utah Water Conservation Forum and was instrumental in starting the Utah Irrigation Association. His active involvement in regional water issues and the green industry gave him the opportunity to create and promote new concepts and procedures to enhance efficiencies in water and management practices.
Throughout the years, Ed has participated in various outreach groups, working with several water agencies to navigate the introduction of new water-use guidelines and requirements in the water and green industry. He is always searching for innovative ways to create new opportunities in resource management by emphasizing the natural use of Biomimicry.
