Water security is a critical issue in Utah. With its arid climate and rapidly growing population, conserving water is essential to ensure a sustainable supply for the future. The Division of Water Resources is tackling this challenge through innovative programs such as secondary water metering, rebate and incentive initiatives, and comprehensive water conservation plans. Join the state’s conservation team to explore these efforts and learn how we can make a meaningful impact in preserving this vital resource.
Our Presenters: Candace Schaible, Heidi King, Josh Zimmerman, Madison Martini, and Shelby Cooley with the Division of Water Resources have various backgrounds including horticulture, environmental studies, political science, and public administration. United by the Division's mission to "plan, conserve, develop, and protect Utah's water resources," these speakers are actively engaged in initiatives and programs that work toward achieving this vital goal.
