2024 Student Connections Program
Thank you to the teachers, students, and industry members for making our 2024 Student Connections Program a success! With the participation of 12 high schools and more than 220 students, this event was a great opportunity for students to network with industry professionals and learn about careers in the green industry. In addition to the professional panel discussion, we had a roundtable event with teachers and industry members, and speed interviewing for the students to gain interview experience.
We extend our gratitude to the participating exhibitors for their generous support, allowing us to award over $6,000 in scholarships and swag items to 25 students who are passionate about pursuing careers in the green industry.
As part of this program, UNLA has added a Student Connections Directory to our website. Any UNLA member can view and contact the high school teachers and/or students in your area with upcoming jobs, volunteer work, guest speaking opportunities, and much more.
